Course Description
A creative writing workshop devoted to pieces dealing with history. Suitable pieces involve actual or representative historical persons and events and require a grasp of their historical contexts. While fiction is welcome, so are poetry, essays and drama. About half the course is devoted to reading and viewing examples, and half to writing and discussing our own work.
